Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This role is essential to ensuring smooth front-office operations, excellent patient service, and efficient communication between patients and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner
Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
Check patients in and out efficiently
Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and referrals
Collect co-payments and provide receipts as required
Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Maintain front desk organization and cleanliness
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus
