General Laborer

Job Description

GPS is hiring General Laborers for a manufacturing facility in Walterboro, SC!

Why Apply:

Starting pay: $15.00/hr.

1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

Benefits offered after hire, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), accrued personal and vacation leave, and a 401 (k) with a 3% company match.

Responsibilities:

Assist with general labor tasks on the packing line

Staple and tape boxes

Assist with shrink-wrapping pallets and attaching shipping labels.

Occasionally work in the sorting department

Operate machinery to load 25 lb. or 50 lb. boxes

Requirements:

Ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to engage in walking, bending, standing, lifting, and stooping activities consistently throughout the shift.

Stable, reliable work history

Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train

Prior forklift experience is beneficial but not required
