GenerX Generators is growing, and were looking for an experienced Office / Scheduling Manager to lead our scheduling team and keep our service operation running smoothly. This role is critical to our customer experience and daily field operations.
Position Overview
The Office / Scheduling Manager will oversee a team of schedulers responsible for handling inbound customer calls and making outbound scheduling calls. Youll manage daily workflows, track performance, coach your team, and ensure technicians are scheduled efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and manage a team of schedulers
Oversee inbound and outbound call activity related to service scheduling
Monitor call volume, booking rates, and daily scheduling efficiency
Ensure appointments are scheduled accurately and optimized for technician routes
Coach team members on phone etiquette, customer service, and sales opportunities
Resolve escalated customer issues professionally and promptly
Coordinate closely with service managers, technicians, and leadership
Maintain accurate scheduling records within our CRM/service software
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
Implement and improve scheduling processes and procedures
Qualifications
Previous experience in scheduling, dispatch, or call center management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Comfortable managing both inbound and outbound call teams
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with scheduling software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
Service industry or home services experience preferred (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, etc.)
