Anatomic Pathology Technician

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Anatomic Pathology Technician to support Lab operations located in West Jefferson, OH. This position is full-time and long-term with great benefits and growth opportunities!

Key Responsibilities

Perform necropsy procedures on small and large animals, trim tissues for histopathology process, and generate data for various types of studies.

Act as a lab technical point of contact.

Laboratory cleaning and upkeep of equipment and space.

Inventory, ordering, and receipt of supplies. Qualifications

Education: Associate degree in animal science/zoology or related biology field.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Pathology and/or clinical pathology laboratory experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

Sufficiently medically fit to do work in a lab wearing appropriate respiratory equipment and perform all assigned duties.

Licenses: Valid state driver's license required.

Work Environment

Work with highly hazardous biological/toxic materials in Biological Safety Level 2 (BSL-2) and Biological Safety Level 3 (BSL-3) laboratories.

Additional Information

This position is Monday through Friday and will require overtime on nights, weekends and to be on call; schedule also include holidays.
