Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacists with multiple state licenses to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality pharmaceutical care to our patients and ensuring optimal medication management.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide consultation to patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments and recommend appropriate therapies
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories
- Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock of medications
- Utilize medical terminology and physiology knowledge in daily tasks
- Participate in utilization review and management processes
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of west Virginia and Maryland
- Strong knowledge of medical management, pediatrics, and pain management
- Proficiency in patient care, utilization management, and patient assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
