Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, from 3:00pm -1:00am.

Starting Pay Range:

$24.00 to $29.00/Hour

$2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift.

Where a candidate falls within the pay range will vary based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, education, skills and experience.

Summary:

Under the direction of the Blending Supervisor, the Blender is responsible for handling raw material receiving, ingredient staging, tank transfers, tanker unloading, CIP (clean-in-place) processes, and the mixing and processing of various liquid and dry products. The role ensures quality and efficiency standards are met through precise execution of written and verbal instructions. The Blender plays a key role in the blending area's efficiency, safety, quality, and communication, contributing to the Company's mission to develop high-quality brands and operate best-in-class facilities.

Essential Functions:

Secure and transport necessary raw materials for new product blends (including acids, flavors, and colors), utilizing a forklift, and adhere to inventory and documentation protocols.

Blend alcoholic, Kosher, Organic, and flavored products in compliance with blending, safety, and CIP (clean in place/chemical wash) guidelines as outlined in batch recipes, and safely transfer the blended product to storage tanks for bottling.

Conduct clean in place (CIP) washes following blending and safety procedures, ensuring equipment cleanliness and

Accurately complete all necessary documentation according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and comply with Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) regulations.

Perform tests on samples to ensure compliance with specifications, unload tankers containing ingredients such as high proof alcohol and syrups after verifying documentation and perform daily start-up and shutdown processes.

Calculate ingredient quantities for batches

Assist in the regular calibration of blending equipment, operate the sugar system, and adjust equipment settings to optimize blending capacity and efficiency.

Identify alternative methods for optimizing equipment usage, batch processing, and storage utilization to enhance product flow and blending order.

Actively participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, offering solutions for operational bottlenecks and working with the Blending Supervisor to enhance efficiency.

Partner with Engineering on capital and process improvement projects to support continuous improvement efforts.

Collaborate on new formulas and assist in developing and refining standard operation procedures (SOPs).

Provide recommendations for improving blending operations and workflows.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Blending Supervisor

Maintain a clean and orderly blending area, including tank rooms, using pressure washers and cleaning materials.

Must have the ability to maintain current knowledge, skills and/or certifications relevant to assigned job responsibilities.

High school diploma or

1-3 years of related working

Forklift certification or ability to obtain upon

Equivalent combination of education and Preferred Education & Experience:

Previous experience working in mixing/blending products and/or chemical Supervisory Responsibilities:

Work Location & Travel Required:

This position works on-site reporting to the Princeton location.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Must be able to tolerate working in a noisy environment while utilizing proper PPE, tolerate high temperatures, humid conditions, and navigating slippery conditions safely. This position requires regular standing for extended periods of time, walking, and reaching with hands and arms. Must have the ability to regularly lift to 50 pounds. Frequent pushing and pulling required. This position requires occasional climbing and the ability to maintain balance.
