Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students across multiple school locations. This role involves providing therapeutic services to elementary students within a school district in the Pickerington, Ohio area. The assignment spans a full semester, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 22, 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering occupational therapy support to a caseload of up to 50 elementary students
Collaborating with school staff to implement individualized therapy plans
Managing therapy schedules and documentation across three district locations
Ensuring compliance with all state and district regulations regarding occupational therapy services
Qualifications and experience sought:
Current Ohio licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required
Experience working in school settings, preferably supporting elementary-aged children
Ability to manage a diverse caseload and travel across multiple school sites within the district
Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with educators and families
Location: Pickerington, OH
