We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for an Assistant Manager – Quality Management for a leading manufacturing company based in Panadura. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, hands-on apparel industry experience, and the ability to convert data into actionable insights using Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality management systems across production units
Analyze quality performance data and generate dashboards, reports, and insights using Power BI
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues
Collaborate with production, engineering, and compliance teams to improve product quality and efficiency
Monitor KPIs related to defects, rework, customer complaints, and compliance
Assist in audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and customer requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
4–5 years of experience in a similar quality management role within the apparel manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, dashboards, reporting)
Solid understanding of quality tools and methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
