Assistant Secretary Of Defense For Legislative Affairs

This position is located in the Office of the Director of Operations, Office of the Assistance Secretary of War for Legislative Affairs (OASD (LA)). The Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs (ASD(LA)) is the principal advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of War on all matters pertaining to the Department of War (DOW) Congressional relations and has continuing responsibility for promotion of mutual understanding and cooperation between the DoW and the Legislative Branch.
