IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING – Office Engineer (Rocky Hill, CT)
Garg Consulting Services, Inc. (Garg) is seeking a qualified Office Engineer to support transportation construction projects in Connecticut. Founded in 1990, Garg is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm with offices in Rocky Hill, CT, and Princeton, NJ. With over 90 employees, Garg supports high-profile infrastructure initiatives across Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.

Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 per year
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain project documentation procedures for RFIs, RFCs, submittals, drawings, contracts, and correspondence
Manage the intake, tracking, approval, and distribution of technical documents using AASHTOWare, COMPASS, and other platforms
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, meeting minutes, and change order logs
Coordinate and communicate with resident engineers, contractors, and client representatives to resolve and document construction issues
Support pay estimates and schedule updates in accordance with CTDOT procedures
Maintain accurate project files and archives for audit readiness
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or NICET 2, 3 in Highway or Transportation Inspection
Minimum 6 years of experience in construction office engineering or technical documentation for infrastructure projects with some field inspection experience
Familiarity with CTDOT project documentation standards
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Valid driver's license and ability to commute to project sites as needed
