We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer - iOS to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Role Overview
Join a product team building high-performance, user-centric iOS apps. You'll own features across the full app lifecycle, from architecture and development through testing, release, monitoring, and iterative improvement, using Swift and modern iOS frameworks. This is a remote role with preference for candidates based in or near Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship native iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI and/or UIKit, aligned to Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
Own the end-to-end app lifecycle: architecture, development, testing (XCTest), App Store preparation, and release management.
Architect clean, scalable solutions (e.g., MVVM, modularization), ensuring performance, memory efficiency, and reliability.
Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, manage offline data, caching, and secure storage (Keychain).
Implement analytics, crash reporting, logging, and performance monitoring (e.g., Instruments).
Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams; contribute to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation.
Uphold security, accessibility, and privacy standards; proactively address defects and technical debt. Qualifications
4+ years developing iOS apps in Swift.
Proven experience across all phases of the app lifecycle (architecture release iteration).
Strong background architecting high-performance iOS applications; expert in performance tuning and Instruments.
Solid understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines (HIG).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
