Job Details

Must Have Qualifications:

Active CPA (required due to state ownership rules)

5+ years of experience in public accounting

Strong tax background across individual and business clients

Ability to maintain strong, trust based client relationships in a small town environment

A service oriented mindset — clients expect personalized, detailed attention

Desire to grow into a leadership and ownership position, even if you're not fully ready today

Ability to manage a varied workload including farms, small businesses, and individual returns

Professional maturity and comfort working with a multigenerational client base

Nice to Have:

Prior supervisory experience

Experience in rural/agriculture-focused bookkeeping or tax (not required but helpful)

Interest in long-term community involvement

Experience with succession transitions or small-firm environments
