About the Role

As a Project Manager with LEI Companies, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing assigned projects from award to close-out, ensuring both financial outcomes and customer satisfaction are achieved. You’ll manage project planning, budget oversight, document control, and effective tracking and reporting of progress and issues. Your analytical skills will help identify trends and mitigate risks, while your leadership will foster communication and collaboration with clients and teams. By mastering these responsibilities, you’ll enable the Operations department to achieve and exceed its goals related to gross margin, client satisfaction, and repeat business.

This is a leadership position requiring ongoing analysis and improvement of business processes and procedures. You’ll interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, always acting in alignment with LEI’s core values. In This Role You Will

Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and direction in the field and with clients

Accurately forecast job costs and strive to exceed expected gross margin

Monitor job progress to identify and document risks and opportunities

Engage proactively to solve issues, seek solutions, and support positive project outcomes

Own the project billing process and support collections for positive cash flow

Lead, manage, and be accountable for project results and team performance

What Success Looks Like

Projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and adhere to the contracted scope of work

Client satisfaction levels are high, leading to repeat business across LEI services

Project gross margins and productivity meet or exceed approved budgets and targets

Monthly cost projections meet variance targets and are completed thoughtfully

Risks and opportunities are documented and reported accurately, with impacts tracked

Monthly billings are coordinated timely with accounting, and past due payments are resolved

Team performance evaluations are conducted, EOS/Traction principles are embraced, and LEI Core Values are exemplified

What You Will Need

10+ years of successful project management experience, with contracts up to $10 million

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)

Self-directed, motivated, and entrepreneurial spirit

Flexible, adaptive, and capable of multi-tasking

Accountability for actions and decisions of self and team

Friendly, personable, and of high character, with substantial client interaction

Expert knowledge of electrical or low-voltage systems, labor, and material rates

Proficiency with Accubid, Viewpoint, and MS Office

MVR that meets LEI’s insurance requirements

Nice to Have

Experience leading client accounts or project teams

Familiarity with EOS/Traction systems
