Job Summary Responsibilities include schedule and execution of compliance and/or licensing activities related to inspections, allegations, Notices of Violation, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) interface, and regulatory correspondence.

Job Description What You'll Do: * Assist with the evaluation, preparation, processing, and submittal of license application documents including Early Site Permits, Construction Permits, Combined Operating Licenses, and Operating Licenses and associated topical reports and audits.
* Coordinate work activity of others to complete routine tasks performs routine regulatory-related activity with minimum direction and follows policies, practices, standards, and rules of the company as well as those regulations and procedures required by external agencies.
* Provide technical assistance and guidance to nuclear development personnel in evaluating nuclear licensing strategies and approaches to comply with regulatory requirements.
* Engage with industry peers and working groups for new nuclear licensing to ensure proper hand-offs of licensing documents promote the interests of AEP.
* Assist with presentations and reports on complex subjects in a clear, concise, and effective manner suitable for presentation to management and/or regulatory bodies.
* Responsible for reviewing proposed requirements that may require license changes, assist with coordinating response for those changes, and assist in preparing necessary license changes for review and approval for submittal.
* Support and participate in the Corrective Action program activities as assigned and in accordance with procedures and policies applicable for the assigned role.
What We're Looking For: Education: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a physical science or equivalent education and/or experience.
Work Experience: * Minimum of four years' experience in nuclear power plant operations or four years' experience in reviewing and preparing changes to licensing documents.
