Russell Tree Experts is excited to continue growing with the addition of a full time Video Editor who will join our Marketing Team, ready to help produceprofessional (and cool)content for our social media, internal training processes, educational videos, and more!

Job Responsibilities

Edit video footage to create various styles and formats of tree work related video content

Training videos, montages, interviews, project summaries, service overviews, advertisements, educational explainers, trendy social media TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, etc.

Offload andproperly organize media files perdepartmentspecification

Light to moderate photo editing (color correction, reframing, etc.)

Report to and collaborate with Media Production Manager for project assignments

Deliverfinal videos ready for upload to the Media Production Manager

Job Skills & Qualifications Required

2-4 years experience with video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred)

Comfortable editing LOG footage and raw photos

Including applying LUTs and presets as needed and color grading

Comfortable editing .wav audio (Adobe Audition preferred)

Strong data management skills (Adobe Bridge preferred)

Safe file transferring practices, file renaming, file organizing

Ability to work independently

Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-based work environment

Ability to work under a project deadline and within brand style guidelines

Ability to understand and convey finalized work products that meets organizational branding and production expectations

Ability to collaborate through feedback, explore new ideas, and implement changes

Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Understanding of or willingness to learn about general tree work processes

Understanding of a shot list, script, and storyboard

Ability to convey video effect ideas to Media Production Manager to execute during recording process

Must be at least 18 years of age

Drivers license required

Legally eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Skills

Experience with motion graphics, titling, lower thirds, and YouTube thumbnail design

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and Bridge

Comfortable recording voiceovers (Adobe Audition preferred)

Comfortable shooting raw photos in manual mode

Ability to understand the exposure triangle
