Provide guidance, coordination, and support to stakeholders for the implementation of high-quality programs of study according to section 124 of the Federal Perkins Act which includes but is not limited to the following tasks: * Monitors the CTE-26 application system used to approve funding for new and existing career-technical programs; * Reviews, proposes & formulates high-quality programs of study to ensure students have meaningful access and are engaged in high-quality CTE programs; * Provides technical assistance to Ohio Technical Centers to expand delivery of secondary CTE courses; * Monitors the Innovative Pathway Program to prepare students for employment in emerging careers that cross multiple career field pathways supported by in-demand or critical occupations; * Supports opportunities relevant to the provision of the Perkins Act Career-Technical Assurance Guides (CTAGs) and Career-Technical Articulation Verification (CTAV) initiative; * Collaborates as needed with other units in the office of Career-Technical Education, Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) and other state agencies to provide technical assistance.
* Builds and maintains business and industry partnerships; * Provides technical assistance to school district personnel (e.g., integrating content standards into curriculum, Program of Study development/implementation); * Plans and provides professional development activities and technical assistance communication for administrators and educators; * Plans and designs strategies to support the implementation of new program models; * Reviews and analyzes program performance data.
* Assists with the implementation of programs and activities associated with career-technical student organizations (i.e.
Ohio DECA, Ohio BPA, Educators Rising). Acts on behalf of the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Office of Career-Technical Education (CTE) for the administration of career technical education programs according to state and federal laws: * Implements the state Perkins plan; * Reviews and approves local Perkins plans; * Monitors and evaluates program effectiveness; * Assures compliance with applicable Federal and State laws; * Provides technical assistance; * Uses state and federal guidelines to approve new program applications and improve existing programs; * Supports and develops State data systems relevant to the provision of the Perkins Act; * Researches exemplary models and best practices that enhance CTE programming; * Assists with the implementation of programs and activities associated with career-technical student organizations.

If this position is filled with an internal employee who has an approved telework agreement, the employee may be required to report in-person during the initial training period.
Minimum qualification of 72 months combined experience in the following: * Career-Technical Education program development and/or Career-Technical Education program administration.
* Educational counseling or career advising in middle school, high school, and/or postsecondary related to career-technical education and/or career connected learning.
* Curriculum coordination - overseeing curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation of middle school, high school, and/or postsecondary for career-technical education and/or career connected learning.
