Position Overview

Havenova Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one in-home care for a client in Quincy, MA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical and personal care support during a scheduled 8-hour daily shift in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the client’s care plan

Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition

Administer medications as prescribed

Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention

Support activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene and dressing

Maintain accurate daily care documentation

Communicate updates to the supervising RN and care team

Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive home environment

Provide companionship and emotional support

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts LPN license (required)

Current CPR/BLS certification

Minimum 1 year of nursing or home care experience preferred

Experience with senior care or chronic condition management is a plus

Strong observation and communication skills

Reliable transportation and punctuality

Ability to work independently in a home setting

Work Environment

One-on-one patient care (not a facility)

Stable daily schedule

Supportive clinical supervision from Havenova leadership
