Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing operations within a regulated production environment. This role is responsible for improving processes, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and providing hands-on technical support to production teams. The Manufacturing Engineer will work cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing operations.

-Develop, improve, and document manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.

-Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving tools.

-Create and update SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.

-Support deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.

-Assist with process, equipment, and system validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) as required.

-Support new product introductions, process transfers, and engineering change orders (ECOs).

-Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and internal quality standards.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production, material, and flow issues.

-Support internal and external audits as needed.

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).

-2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.

-Strong knowledge of GMP-regulated environments.

Experience with deviations, CAPA, change control, and validation activities.

-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

-Ability to work effectively on the production floor and with cross-functional teams.

-Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Work Environment

Regulated manufacturing environment (cleanroom exposure may apply).

Hands-on role requiring frequent interaction with production teams.

Flexibility to support extended hours or special projects when required.
