Travel Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Zip: 57105)

Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab - Acute Care

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/9/2026 - End: 5/11/2026)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts weekly (start times: 5:30am, 6:30am, or 7:30am)

On Call: 1-2 calls per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks (30-minute response time required)

Scrubs: Ceil Blue (provided)

Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)

RCIS or RCES certification preferred

Ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call shifts

Proficiency with computerized charting systems (EPIC, XIM, Pyxis, Xcelera)

Key Responsibilities

Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart catheterizations, and assist with device implants and electrophysiology (EP) cases

Operate Siemens and Philips fluoroscopy systems for cardiac procedures

Monitor patients using XIM and other cardiac monitoring tools

Participate in department orientation focused on monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating

Badge in and out daily and comply with facility protocols

Maintain high standards of patient care and safety in all clinical procedures
