Sterile Processing Technician Responsibilities

Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical devices

Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes and inventory control

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and infection control standards

Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to support clinical operations and patient care

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of sterilization equipment
