Job Description
HIRING FOR A PCB HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER
Location: Chandler, AZ
Type: Full-Time
Build What’s Next
This is not a maintenance role. This is a chance to own hardware from concept to production and directly shape the next generation of electronic products. We’re looking for a Senior PCB Hardware Engineer who wants influence, visibility, and real technical ownership — not just another seat in a large organization.
You’ll work on innovative designs, solve meaningful engineering problems, and see your work move from idea to prototype to full-scale production. If you’re motivated by impact, autonomy, and building real hardware, this role delivers.
Why You’ll Love This Role
End-to-End Ownership – Architect, design, prototype, validate, and release products you can point to.
Engineering-Driven Culture – Your technical decisions matter and are heard.
Hands-On Work – Not just schematics — real bring-up, debugging, and validation.
Product Focused – Work on new development, not legacy-only maintenance.
Cross-Functional Impact – Partner closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Room to Grow – Influence architecture, mentor others, and expand technical leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead complete hardware development cycles from requirements through production release.
Design robust, manufacturable architectures balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
Create multi-layer PCB schematics and layouts with attention to signal integrity, power, EMI/EMC, and thermal.
Select components with long-term availability and performance in mind.
Bring up prototypes, debug issues, and drive design improvements.
Collaborate closely with embedded software, mechanical, and operations teams.
Produce documentation, BOMs, and test plans to support manufacturing and compliance.
What Makes You a Fit
5+ years of hands-on PCB and hardware product development experience.
Track record of taking designs from idea to shipped product.
Expertise with Altium, OrCAD, or similar PCB design tools.
Strong analog, digital, and mixed-signal background.
Experience solving EMI, signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal challenges.
Comfortable owning problems and driving solutions independently.
Bonus Experience
Industrial, automotive, or medical product development.
Power electronics, motor control, or high-speed interfaces.
Regulatory compliance (UL, CE, FCC, ISO).
Leadership or mentoring experience.
The Opportunity
You’re not filling a seat — you’re shaping products. This role offers technical ownership, visibility, and the chance to influence architecture and production strategy. If you enjoy solving complex hardware challenges and want to see your designs go into the field, this is a strong next step in your career.Company Description
