Job Summary:
The Pricing & Quoting Analyst at DQE Communications supports the Sales organization by ensuring accurate, timely, and strategically aligned pricing and quoting for complex customer deals. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal to drive deal velocity, margin discipline, and scalable quoting processes across the revenue organization. This is a highly analytical, cross-functional role ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, systems, and commercial strategy. Must be local to the Pittsburgh area. Hybrid work environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Support Sales on complex, non-standard deals including pricing, discounts, term structures, and product configurations.
Review and analyze deal economics to ensure margin targets and pricing guidelines are met.
Serve as a key contributor to the deal desk & quote approval process.
Create, review, and approve quotes in CRM systems (HubSpot, NetSuite).
Ensure quote accuracy, compliance with pricing policies, and contract alignment
Identify quoting inefficiencies and partner with Sales Support to improve workflows and automation
Analyze pricing trends, discounting behavior, win/loss data, and deal cycle times.
Develop reporting and dashboards to support sales leadership decision-making.
Provide recommendations to improve pricing consistency and deal profitability.
Partner with Finance on pricing models, approvals, and revenue impact.
Collaborate with Legal on contract terms and non-standard deal structures.
Act as a trusted advisor to Sales reps and Sales leadership on deal strategy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong Excel Skills (intermediate to advanced level functions)
Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models (subscriptions, usage-based, services)
Experience with CRM systems, HubSpot & NetSuite is preferred.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple deals under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
2–5 years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Pricing, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Finance, or a related analytical role
Experience supporting pricing, quoting, or complex deal structures in a B2B environment preferred
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and operational data to support sales decision-making
