Position Summary
Our client is hiring a Network Cybersecurity Engineer (Hybrid, Columbus, OH) to support firewall management, NAC engineering, network design, and cloud connectivity. This role plays a critical part in securing enterprise systems and providing Tier 3 troubleshooting for complex network and cybersecurity issues. Candidates must have strong Palo Alto expertise and hands-on experience with NAC architecture.
Primary Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
Design and implement enterprise-level Network Access Control (NAC) systems
Manage and support wired, wireless, and cloud network infrastructure
Provide Tier 3 support for cybersecurity and networking escalations
Improve network segmentation, Zero Trust, and traffic security policies
Investigate and resolve advanced incidents involving firewalls, NAC, cloud connectivity, and routing
Monitor and report on network performance, security posture, and compliance
Document engineering standards, procedures, and architecture updates Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience with Palo Alto Networks (configuration, threat prevention, security policies)
5+ years designing and implementing NAC solutions (ISE, Aruba ClearPass, or similar)
Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, network protocols)
Experience with cloud networking in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Proven Tier 3 troubleshooting capability for complex network and security issues
