Plastics Resources, Inc. is looking for an entry-level Maintenance Technician who is dependable, willing to learn, and interested in growing their skills. This role will assist our Lead Maintenance Technician with basic maintenance tasks and help keep our facility and equipment running smoothly. No extensive experience is required - we will train the right person.Responsibilities

Assist with basic maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and the building

Help with routine and preventative maintenance

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Report any equipment or building issues to the maintenance team

Assist with moving materials or equipment as needed

Operate forklifts and drive trucks with trailers (training provided if needed)

Follow all safety rules and proceduresRequirements

Willingness to learn and take direction

Basic mechanical ability or interest in working with tools

Good attention to detail

Reliable, honest, and strong work ethic

Good communication skills

Ability to stay organized

Safety-mindedPreferred (Not Required)

Any maintenance, mechanical, or hands-on experience
