Shift and Pay Information:
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Starting pay: $18/hour (may be higher depending on experience)
$2/hour shift differential for all 2nd shift hours
General Purpose of Job:
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating stone CNC machines, including sawjets and routers, to ensure accurate and efficient production in line with fabrication drawings and schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and understand fabrication drawings to execute production tasks effectively
Set up CNC machines and run programs according to schedule
Perform routine maintenance and tool calibration
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
Address quality issues immediately and communicate with Operations Manager or Production Coordinator
Uphold Classic Rock’s Core Values in daily operations
Perform other duties as assigned to support company goals
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Indoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment with loud to very loud noise levels
Regular movement, standing, reaching, lifting (up to 100 lbs), pushing, pulling, and handling materials
Steel toe or rubber boots required

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months of related experience/training; or equivalent combination
No prior CNC experience required; general familiarity with machinery, computers, or hand tools helpful
Forklift training and certification provided
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and fabrication drawings
Basic computer knowledge and comfort with hand tools
Ability to perform basic math and understand geometry
Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
Positive, professional attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Physical & Safety Requirements:
Active, physical role requiring movement and standing throughout the shift
Maximum weight lifted: <100 lbs
Steel toe or rubber boots required
Certifications:
Forklift certification (training provided and renewed every three years)
