IsAmericaGreatAgain.lol is a daily, satire-forward news and meme tracker that answers one question—“Is America great again?”—by collecting the day’s biggest stories, adding context, and publishing a clear, source-backed verdict. We’re building a fast, consistent publishing machine that’s funny without being sloppy and factual without being boring.
We’re hiring: Writers, Researchers, Meme Curators, and Operators (remote, part-time to start)
What you’ll do (depending on role)
Writer: turn messy news into clean summaries + a sharp take; write headlines that don’t lie
Researcher: verify claims, find primary sources, keep links and context airtight
Meme Curator: select images/video that actually match the story; avoid misinformation-by-caption
Operator: publish posts, tag content, basic QA, keep the calendar flowing
What we’re looking for
Strong judgment: you can separate “viral” from “true,” and “true” from “useful”
Clear writing: you can explain complex issues without jargon or performative neutrality
Source discipline: you cite originals, not screenshots of screenshots
Reliability: you can hit deadlines, communicate quickly, and ship consistently
Nice to have
Familiarity with US politics/news cycles (without treating them like sports)
Experience with editorial workflows, fact-checking, OSINT, or moderation
Comfort working with lightweight tools (docs, spreadsheets, GitHub/issues)
Time/compensation
Remote, flexible hours; daily cadence means consistency matters more than bursts
Paid (rate depends on role/experience); starting with small scopes and scaling up with output
How to apply
Apply at /jobs on the site
Include: your role(s) of interest, relevant links, and anything that shows your judgment (writing samples, research notes, meme selections, etc.)
If you’re the type who can read the source, tell the truth, and still make it entertaining—apply.
