Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Lead Consultant with strong techno-functional expertise in Manufacturing and Warehouse Management (WMS). This role requires hands-on support for plant operations, deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS manufacturing modules, and close collaboration with business and IT teams to ensure seamless production and logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will work onsite and maintain an active presence on the production floor, warehouse, and shipping areas to support real-time operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional & Technical Support

Provide daily support for Oracle EBS modules, including:

Manufacturing (WIP, BOM, MRP)

Warehouse Management / Inventory

Shipping Execution

Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority production and logistics issues

Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolutions across teams

Monitor and resolve interface errors and transactional failures

2. Onsite Operations & Floor Support

Maintain onsite presence in key operational areas such as:

Production floor

Warehouse and storage

Shipping docks

Work closely with end users to identify and resolve issues in real time

Validate system transactions at scanning stations, handheld devices, and packing areas

3. Stakeholder & Business Collaboration

Serve as the primary IT contact for plant and operations teams

Gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements and process improvements

Communicate system status and issue resolutions clearly to stakeholders

Partner with Global IT, Oracle Support, and Business SMEs

4. Testing, Training & Documentation

Support testing during patches, upgrades, and new feature releases

Create user guides, SOPs, and quick-reference documentation

Conduct training sessions for new users and feature rollouts

5. Continuous Improvement

Identify recurring issues and recommend process or configuration improvements

Optimize warehouse, shipping, and manufacturing workflows through system enhancements

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)

Strong techno-functional expertise in Manufacturing and WMS domains

Deep knowledge of WIP, BOM, MRP, Inventory, and Shipping Execution

Experience supporting production floor and warehouse operations

Proven ability in issue resolution, root cause analysis, and system optimization

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have

Experience supporting discrete manufacturing operations

Exposure to Oracle upgrades, integrations, and process automation

Experience working in fast-paced plant environments
