The Distribution Tech team’s mission is to empower global brands and platforms to unlock unforgettable travel experiences for their customers by making it easy to integrate GetYourGuide’s world-class activities into their own ecosystems. Your mission

Design and develop scalable systems that are easily integrated by other companies and used by millions of customers

Mentor and teach other team members, contribute to team culture, and raise the performance bar

Work in a cross-functional mission team with engineers, product managers, designers, and data specialists

Continuously improve our codebase, systems, and processes

Find opportunities to help the team meet and exceed cluster goals

Collaborate in an international environment

Your toolkit

5+ years of software development experience

A strong background in designing and implementing scalable service-oriented architectures and a good understanding of design patterns

Proficiency in Java/Spring and the ability to build features from scratch

Experience in defining and tracking data to facilitate customer-centric decision-making

A positive, pro-active, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge

A passion for delivering clean code and continuously learning about new tools, languages, and practices

Be excited experiment with and leverage AI

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience working with event-driven architectures, including producing and consuming events in distributed systems
