What You'll Do
As a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, you will be responsible for high-quality blood collection and specimen handling for patients across all age groups, while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
Collect blood samples via venipuncture for patients of all ages
Ensure proper identification of patients and specimens
Facilitate collection and transportation of specimens
Follow infection control standards at all times
Maintain quality results by following department procedures
Support a safe, secure, and compliant work environment
Travel to other CommWell Health sites as needed to support operations What We're Looking For
Required:
HS Diploma or GED
Current Phlebotomy Certification
BLS Certification (American Red Cross or AHA)
Valid NC driver's license + clean driving record (approved for driving privileges)
Preferred:
One (1) year of clinical experience in a primary care, community health, or outpatient setting
Experience with underserved or rural populations
