Operator - Assembly - 3rd Shift

Your Key Responsibilities * Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parameter setting according to work order information * Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes * Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol * Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines * Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Your Qualifications Required * High school diploma or GED equivalent * Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English * Ability to operate basic machinery in a manufacturing environment * Good visual acuity * Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required * Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship Preferred * Experience working with power tools Our Offering * Salary: $20.00 * 2nd and 3rd shift premium available * Hiring Bonus: $1,500 paid out in steps * Medical, dental and vision insurance * Life insurance and 401k eligible with up to 6% company match * Please see all our benefit offerings at Schaeffler Benefits
