What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Jointly lead a delivery team comprising internal business SMEs, IT personnel, client stakeholders, and external integrators

Manage project delivery to ensure services are completed on time, within scope, and within budget

Document decision?making processes on behalf of clients within established project governance structures

Coordinate task assignments based on project plans and communicate status to clients and stakeholders

Participate in marketing and business development activities, including writing blog posts and attending industry conferences

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field

5 or more years of experience working with federal, state, or local government in areas such as permitting or regulatory systems

Experience with agile software implementation methodologies

Experience implementing permitting and regulatory systems such as Accela, CentralSquare, or Oracle is desired

Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and proactive problem management skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Advanced degree and current project management certification (PMP or CAPM) or organizational change management certification

Consulting experience in a national or regional firm with public sector clients or relevant independent consulting experience

Prior employment with a software vendor or system integrator in requirements gathering and software testing
