Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerDepartment: 6100 - EngineeringLocation: High Bridge, NJPay Range: $65,000-$80,000SummaryThis position is to support the engineering department.
They will need to be able to develop processes, drawings, design and details for manufacturing of custom tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
This position is responsible for preparing an accurate and detailed shop routing package within a specific timeframe to meet customer commitments and current scheduled shop load.Responsibilities \nSupport engineering department as required.\nDevelops, evaluates, and provides detail process steps (Routers) in the manufacturing of custom tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.\nIssues preliminary requisitions for tooling raw material.\nEstimates production times, resources required and related costs to provide information for pricing and scheduling.\nProvides detail drawings and layouts as required for production.\nDesigns tools, dies, jigs and fixtures as required for processing product through resource.\nAssist sales and marketing in product design/tooling to ensure efficient production methods.\nConfer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\nQualifications\nBasic computer skills including ERP and associated programs.\nMathematically inclined.\nMust be a US citizen.\n\nEducation and/or Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineer or similar field and/or 2 year minimum work relative experience.\nExperience in: SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Office and Excel\nExperience in GD&T and Blue Print Reading\n\nPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
