Process Engineer, Foil Coating

What to Expect

The Foil Coating Process Engineer will handle all aspects of coating Copper and Aluminum foils for battery production. This includes commissioning new equipment, ramp to full production, introduction of new processes and materials in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. What You'll Do

Commission anode and cathode foil coating processes and ramp to full production

Work with development and NPI on process, equipment, and new material introductions

Responsible for product OEE, cost, and scrap reduction metrics

Team up with downstream customers to solve production related issues

Proactively engineer the next generation of foil coating products

What You'll Bring

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum two years experience in coating and/or mixing processes in a high volume facility

Experience with transfer of slurries/powders in industrial systems

Proven experience driving processes to the next level via data driven approaches

Experience in battery manufacturing preferred
