Connecticut Nursing Job Details

Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Willimantic, Connecticut 06226

Assignment Type: Travel Nursing

Start Date: January 12, 2026

End Date: April 12, 2026

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am), 3 shifts per week

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1990 - $2050

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact state

Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system

Stroke care and orthopedic nursing experience preferred

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in a busy hospital environment

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using the EPIC EMR system

Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery, and health management
