About the Role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) with strong expertise especially in structural works and plumbing systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management, contract administration, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for structural and plumbing works.

• Conduct site measurements, valuations, and progress claims to ensure accurate reporting.

• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate contracts, and monitor variations.

• Ensure compliance with local construction regulations, standards, and safety requirements.

• Provide cost control and budget monitoring throughout project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical and contractual issues.

• Prepare final accounts and project closure documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in QS role, preferably with structural and plumbing projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (PAM, JKR, FIDIC, etc.) and local compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
