Job Summary

Avalon Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dermatological practices and a passion for patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions, providing comprehensive care to patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess skin conditions and diseases.

Diagnose and treat various dermatological issues, including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.

Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.

Collaborate with other specialists in areas such as pathology, rheumatology, and trauma medicine when necessary.

Provide education to patients regarding skin health, treatment options, and preventive care.

Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with medical office protocols.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology and related fields such as vascular radiography and respiratory therapy.

Qualifications

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with a specialization in Dermatology.

Valid medical license to practice dermatology in the relevant state.

Experience in patient care within a medical office setting is preferred.

Knowledge of related fields such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment), ICU practices, and trauma medicine is a plus.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
