Sr. Master Data Specialist (2312412)

This position works under limited supervision and is primarily responsible for supporting our U.S. production sites with product and production master data. Collaborates with the global master data function and business stakeholders to ensure high data quality. Aligns local master data processes to the global set-up. Plans, coordinates, and drives Master Data Management activities among several teams in the line of business and IT for Master Data-related projects and post go-live SAP Master Data implementations. Manages, leads, approves, and coordinates Master Data-related Change Requests to SAP following the validation process defined for SAP Change Management and control. Builds, maintains, and strengthens relations with key stakeholders, acting as liaison on key business initiatives and projects. Leads and develops master data process improvements and establishes master data governance best practices. Defines new processes and improves existing processes for material master by material type and business unit, bill of materials, production versions, recipes, customer master, and vendor master.

Domestic or international travel is required up to 10% of the time for meeting colleagues or working on projects. This position is based in our West Allis, WI, location and may require working remotely up to two days per week.

8 years (96 months) of experience in the manufacturing or IT field. Requires 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, which must include: 5 years of experience working with a manufacturing or IT company; 8 years of experience with SAP, in the Materials Management (MM) module; 7 years of experience with internal business processes; 1 year of experience creating work documents outlining specific processes and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, IT, business administration, or materials management
