We are seeking a CNC Programmer. This is a full- time Salary position with a local facility focusing on metal fabrication and electrical power distribution. The perfect candidate for this position would have 2-3 years of CNC operator and programming experience. You must be able to work well with technology and have great attention to detail. This facility is utilizing new Trumpf equipment and nesting software which does not require a vast amount of experience. Advanced training is provided through Trumpf. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in CNC programming and machine operation

Proficient in G-code and CAM software

Strong understanding of materials and machining properties

Ability to read technical drawings and use inspection tools

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties:

Program CNC machines (lathe, mill, bending, cutting, or punching machines) using software

Set up machines, including tooling, fixturing, and calibration

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T

Operate machines if needed and monitor production to ensure parts meet specifications

Perform in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools

Troubleshoot and correct machining issues as they arise

Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols and quality standards

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams for process improvements
