ASSISTANT DIRECTOR INTERNSHIP – APPLIED PURPOSE LEADERSHIP
Voice Up: Your Pathway to Purpose (2nd Edition)
Applied Purpose Science Research Lab
A Leadership Development Pathway in Purpose, Ethics, Publishing, and Systems Impact
OVERVIEW
The Assistant Director Internship – Applied Purpose Leadership focuses on the applied stewardship of Voice Up: Your Pathway to Purpose (2nd Edition) as a living leadership and implementation framework. This role supports the translation of the book’s core ideas—purpose as preventive health, lifelines, the B Curriculum, and student-authored solutions—into ethical, measurable practice across education, research, and community settings.
Interns help ensure that purpose discovery is implemented responsibly, with dignity, attribution, and care, and that the book remains a tool for service rather than extraction. The internship is designed as a leadership development pathway, with strong performers eligible for continued leadership roles within Voice Up.

At its core, Voice Up is built around a simple, almost unfashionable idea: people don’t struggle because they lack talent or motivation. They struggle because they are asked to perform identity and purpose before anyone has taken the time to see them accurately.
Purpose Without the Performance
In recent years, “purpose” has become a crowded word. Corporations brand it. Schools demand it. Social media packages it as a personality trait. Everyone, it seems, is supposed to know who they are and where they’re going—early, loudly, and convincingly.
