This position involves developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, crafting engaging content across various platforms, and managing the organization's website and online giving pages.
The Specialist works closely with the Communications Team and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and a unified approach to communications.
By monitoring and analyzing metrics, the Specialist continuously refines strategies to enhance audience growth, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
This position will also provide graphic design and messaging support to program teams as needed.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties
Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s social media strategy in alignment with the Communications Director and the annual communications calendar.
Create engaging content, including video production, tailored to different social media platforms.
Engage in versatile content writing for various platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational messaging and brand voice.
Manage and oversee the monthly social media content calendar.
Capture quality photos for use on across channels and coordinate professional photoshoots quarterly.
Monitor social media and respond, interact, and drive engagement.
Monitor, analyze, and report on social media and website metrics to track audience growth, engagement, and effectiveness of communication strategies.
Responsible for the regular upkeep and updating of the organization's website, online giving pages, and other online presences to maximize engagement and conversion.
Assist in the design and creation of communication materials in line with the organization's visual branding.
Support the achievement of overall Communications Team priorities through executing other tasks and duties as assigned by the Communications Director.
Work collaboratively with the Communications Team and other departments to ensure a unified approach to organizational communications.

Education & Experience
2+ years of relevant experience required
No supervisory experience required
Some college required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.; or in place of a degree, equivalent years of experience
Ability to drive between locations
Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred but not required
Qualifications
Proficiency in social media platforms and their best practices for engagement.
Experience in content creation, including writing, editing, and basic graphic design.
Understanding of digital analytics tools for tracking and optimizing content strategies.
Awareness of industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing schedules and deadlines.
Understanding of brand identity and ability to maintain brand consistency.
Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
Willingness and interest in continuous learning and adaptation based on your professional interests and organizational needs.
A high standard of performance and integrity, and ability to lead by example to foster a positive workplace culture.
