Short-Term Acute Care Level IV Trauma Center

8-Week Contract Start Date: 02/09/2026

Night Shift 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups

Perform rapid triage and patient assessments

Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, blood products, and sedation

Manage ventilated patients, chest tubes, and cardiac monitoring

Respond to trauma, psychiatric, neurological, and medical emergencies

Serve as Charge Nurse when needed, including triage or patient care responsibilities

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Social Services

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to isolation and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

Active RN license

Minimum 2 years of ER experience (some flexibility with strong candidates)

Charge Nurse experience required

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (all required)

Strong experience in adult and pediatric emergency care

Ability to manage high-acuity patients independently
