Job Description

ABOUT US:

Community health is about more than just vaccines and checkups. It’s about giving people the resources they need to live their best lives. At Neighborhood, this is our vision: a community where everyone is healthy and happy. We’re with you every step of the way, with the care you need for each of life’s chapters. At Neighborhood, we are Better Together.

As a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) community health organization, we serve over 500,000 medical, dental, and behavioral health visits from more than 100,000 people annually. We do this in pursuit of our mission to improve the health and happiness of the communities we serve by providing quality care to all, regardless of situation or circumstance.

ROLE OVERVIEW and PURPOSE:

Neighborhood Healthcare offers clinical rotation opportunities for students actively enrolled in MD, DO, PA, or NP programs. Clinical rotations provide a hands-on learning experience under the guidance of one of our experienced providers (preceptors). Students will have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while gaining exposure to community health.

Please note: Clinical rotation opportunities are only available to students from schools where Neighborhood Healthcare has an active affiliation agreement. We are unable to accommodate students from schools without such agreements. Applying does not guarantee placement, as rotations depend on provider availability and acceptance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in clinical rotations under the direct supervision of an assigned preceptor

Engage in patient care activities as directed by your program requirements and preceptor guidance

Develop clinical skills, including patient interaction, case documentation, and care coordination

Adhere to Neighborhood Healthcare’s standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient care

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be actively enrolled in an MD, DO, PA, or NP program

Must attend a school with an active affiliation agreement with Neighborhood Healthcare

Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and collaboration

Full-time
