Dance Event Camera Operator

Compensation: $150-$400/Day + Travel Pay + All Expenses

The Role

We are on the lookout for passionate and skilled Camera Operators to join our dynamic team. As part of this role, you will travel across the U.S. to capture and stream various dance competitions, recitals, and workshops, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality media to dance studios and performers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site to ensure flawless production.

Conduct thorough daily video and audio checks to maintain broadcast quality.

Film and log performances, manage live streams, and upload daily footage efficiently.

Handle data transfers (FTP/shipping) post-events.

Travel across the country by car or plane to work at designated venues.

Requirements

Proven experience in filming live events, sports, or action performances.

Strong technical skills in camera operation (exposure, white balance, audio management).

Physically able to lift 50 lbs, work long hours (12-16 hours), and travel from Thursday to Monday as needed.

Must reside within 1 hour of an airport and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.

Comfortable working in loud music environments, with flashing lights and extended periods of stationary work.

Willingness to pass a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check.

Receive paid training in January and February 2026.

All travel and hotel accommodations covered, with single-occupancy rooms provided.

Travel time is compensated.

All necessary equipment will be supplied.

Key Dates

Virtual Training: 1 day each week in January (4 days total).

Infield Training: 2 training sessions at actual events in January and February.

Major Event Dates:

Feb 27-Mar 1, Mar 6-8, Mar 13-15, Mar 20-22, Mar 27-29

Apr 10-12, Apr 17-19, Apr 24-26

May 1-3, May 8-10, May 15-17, May 29-31

June 5-7

Additional Opportunities: There are events scheduled until the end of July.
