Build the capacity of the Tanzania People’s Defense Force (TPDF) Navy, Tanzania Maritime Police, Tanzania Drug Control and Enforcement Authority (DCEA), Tanzania National Police, and Tanzania Customs and Port Authority to conduct maritime and border security operations pursuant to 10 U.S.C. § 333. This program will provide counter illicit trafficking training. The program objective is to enhance the capability of the Tanzanian Naval Command and supporting agencies to conduct coordinated maritime security operations to counter illicit trafficking activity in Tanzania’s territorial waters and ports. Requirements:

Ten (10) years’ experience in surface maritime domain with the US Navy, US Merchant Marine, and/or US Coast Guard. • Five (5) years’ hands-on experience in operations and maintenance of SAFEBOAT watercraft or similar watercraft such as patrol and other mono-hull watercraft. • Five (5) years’ experience in Maritime Supply and Logistics. • Three (3) years’ working in a foreign country, or named combat operation overseas • Two (2) years’ experience developing and delivering maintenance or logistics training modules to foreign militaries. 7.2 Administrative Requirements. • Must be a US citizen and maintain a US Passport. • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills. • Must be able to travel extensively both domestically and internationally unassisted. • Must have a US driver’s license or able to obtain a US driver’s license prior to arrival in country and be comfortable driving in US and partner nation (PN) countries.
