Experienced Mechanic Wanted – Lancaster, TX

$800-$1,100/week Flag Rate + Weekly Guarantee

About the Position

Our shop is under new management and we're building a team of skilled technicians who take pride in quality work. We need a mechanic who can diagnose accurately, repair efficiently, and maintain high standards—someone who doesn't just throw parts at problems.

What You'll Do

Perform comprehensive repairs: brakes, exhaust systems, diagnostics, routine maintenance, and general automotive service

Diagnose problems accurately using proper diagnostic procedures and tools

Complete repairs correctly the first time

Maintain a clean, organized work area

Mentor junior technicians when applicable

Requirements

Must Have:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience

Strong working knowledge of engines, brakes, electrical systems, and diagnostics

Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and scan tools

Reliable attendance and professional work ethic

Own basic hand tools (specialty tools and major equipment provided)

Preferred:

Experience with Meineke services (brakes, exhaust, maintenance work)

ASE certifications (or willingness to pursue them)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong customer communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Structure:

Flag rate system with weekly guarantee

$800-$1,200 per week based on skill level and productivity

You earn more when you're efficient, but you're protected during slow periods

Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 8AM-6PM

Saturday: 8AM-5PM

Extra day off every other week
