Nair Systems is currently looking for Base24 Tester for our Qatar operations with the following Skill set and terms & conditions.

Skills and Experience:

Experience : More than 3 years in Banking domain as tester

• The role involves testing BASE24 Classic/BASE24-eps applications integrated with Visa and Mastercard networks, ensuring high availability, security, and accuracy of financial transactions.

• Key Skills & Competencies:

• Able to support the manual and automation testing

• Base24 and settlement testing knowledge

• Comprehensive Test Cases preparation for both Manual and Automation testing

• Strong understanding of Cards lifecycle (debit/credit/prepaid), Merchant Acquiring, and 3D Secure flows.

• Hands-on expertise with Base24, Prime 4, MPGS, payment gateway APIs, and settlement engines.

• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL for data validation, analysis, and reconciliation reports.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks with tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with ISO 8583 message formats and card scheme mandates.

• Understanding of dispute resolution systems (Visa Resolve Online, Mastercard DDRS).

• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing for BASE24 ATM and POS applications.

• Validate ATM transactions such as cash withdrawal, balance inquiry, mini statement, PIN change, and fund transfer.

• Test POS transactions including purchase, refund, reversal, and pre-authorization

• Validate Visa and Mastercard transaction flows, including authorization, clearing, and settlement

• Analyze and validate ISO 8583 message formats, fields, and bitmaps

• Verify transaction routing, switching, and host responses in BASE24

• Perform end-to-end testing across ATM/POS Switch Network Issuer/Acquirer

• Validate EMV, magstripe, and contactless transactions

• Test exception scenarios: reversals, timeouts, partial approvals, stand-in processing

• Use transaction simulators and tools to generate and monitor test transactions

• Review logs, journals, and reports to identify defects

• Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA)

Domain Expertise: Cards, POS, Payments, Merchant Acquiring, Dispute Management, Reconciliation, Digital Transformation
