Role Description
As an Outside Technical Sales Representative for Gentek Inc you will be responsible for marketing our products and services to prospective clients in a structured sales environment on the East Coast Florida running from Melbourne FL south to Miami. As a hybrid role, you will be based in your home office and working a defined territory. Your main task will be to understand customer technical challenges and sell our technical solutions that meets customers’ requirements. This involves developing relationships with customers, responding to sales inquiries, conducting product and service demonstrations, and closing deals.
Qualifications
Experience in outside sales or technical sales, ideally in a B2B environment
Good knowledge of the industry and market trends (SAT/COM, Automotive, DoD, Industrial Process Automation)
Strong problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
A self-starter with a strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work independently
Ability to work in a structured sales environment and achieve sales targets
Professional and customer-focused attitude
Understanding of GPS/Timing, Data Acquisition systems and sensor technology is a plus.
