Position: CPT I

Pay: $385.00 to $550.00 gross per shift

Assignment Length: 4 Weeks

Schedule: 10 hours

Shifts Available: Days and Nights

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients of all ages

Collect, label, process, and transport specimens per laboratory SOPs and safety standards

Document accurately in LIS/EMR systems

Process specimens in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank

Prepare reference lab send-outs and operate automated laboratory equipment

Provide professional patient interaction and customer service

Pick up and sort specimens from hospital units and OR

Stock, replenish, and order laboratory supplies

Maintain cleanliness of lab work areas and equipment

Adapt quickly in high-volume, fast-paced environments

Perform additional duties as assigned by laboratory leadership Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.

Current and valid state certification as a CPT I, required.

BLS certification required

Minimum one (1) year of CPT I expereince required.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.00 per hour to $50.00 per hour. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
