Plumber Job Responsibilities:

· Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.

· Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.

· Follow building plans and blueprints.

· Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.

· Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.

· Light construction, ceiling and electrical work as required.

· Prepare quotes/estimates.

· Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.Requirements:

· 5+ years’ experience working as a plumber in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and equipment.

· Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.

· Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.

· Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to complete plumbing projects.

· Excellent problem-solving skills.

· Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurement.

· Working knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work.

· Exceptional customer service and client focus.

· Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

· Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Heating and HVAC experience a plus.

Full-time
