Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Occupational therapist opportunity supporting K-12 students across multiple schools in Eastern Colorado. This full-time leave contract position offers a caseload across diverse school districts, with flexibility for remote work on paperwork, planning, and IEP meetings if desired. The role primarily requires onsite presence, supporting students throughout various locations.

Location:

Eastern Colorado, headquartered in Simla, CO

Itinerant position covering multiple districts including Burlington, Limon, Flagler, Woodrow, Hugo, Anton, and Karval

Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across assigned school districts

Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Complete all required documentation, paperwork, and planning activities

Participate in IEP meetings, with the option to attend remotely if preferred

Manage an itinerant caseload with approximately 33 students across multiple locations

Travel between schools to deliver services and support students developmental needs

Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings preferred

Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions, especially within K-12 education

Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple locations

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with education teams and families

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Willingness to travel and provide onsite services at different school districts
